Fun at the lake!

The LuxOase is situated directly next to a lake with an area of 35 hectares (approx. 75 acres). The area around the lake is very natural and a big variety of animals live there. Guests and local visitors like to swim in the lake. There are bays in the reed zone for access to the lake and at the south bank there is an open grassland where you can easily step into shallow water.

Please note that swimming in the lake is at your own risk. You won’t find a sandy beach but wonderful nature which might remind you of Finland. Don’t forget to take your inflatables ... Also for fishermen it is a paradise indeed. The lake is managed by the German Fishermen's Association and those with a fishing license will be able to buy daily or weekly permits nearby.

Whoever prefers swimmingpools to natural lakes will find one of the most beautiful outdoor-funpools in Großröhrsdorf only 3 km from the campsite with several slides, diving platform, lots of water attractions and a beautiful area for infants.

The funpool is within easy reach by bike and situated in a beautiful forest directly next to the campsite and the lake. An indoor-funpool with giant slide, waves and tropical atmosphere is in Neustadt/ Sachsen, only 20 km from the campsite. Of course you will find further attractive indoor- & outdoor pools in Dresden.
