You are invited to visit many castles, palaces and gardens. Stolpen is only 8 km from the campingsite, with its mediaeval atmosphere and linked with the fate of the famous Countess Cosel, mistress of Augustus the Strong. She was banished there.

The mighty, invincible and magnificent mountain fortress Köngstein offers a unique view over the valley of the Elbe River and is one of the biggest castles in Germany.

The Baroque Garden in Grosssedlitz is famous as a playing field of princes and kings. Castle Weesenstein is a royal palace well restored to its original form.
