Dresden is famous worldwide for its unique sights and magnificent works of architecture. Dresden is everything – the capital of Saxony, a city of Baroque architecture, of culture and music, set in the lovely river scenery of the Elbe River.
History and modernity are both found together. Discover the „Dresden-fortress“ and casemates dating from the days before Augustus the Strong, the unique Zwinger, the Glockenspiel with 40 bells of Meissen china, the world-famous Old Masters Gallery, the Royal Palace, ....
Enjoy the superb view over the Elbe River from the Balcony of Europe (Brühlsche Terrasse) and historical sights such as the recently re-built Church of Our Ladies (Frauenkirche), Semper Opera, Pillnitz-Castle, that used to be a popular summer-residence of Saxon Sovereigns.
